The RDP Electronics E309 LVDT signal conditioning unit is an a.c. powered panel meter specifically designed as an indicator/conditioner for use with LVDT and inductive transducers.
The E309 LVDT signal conditioning panel meter provides the excitation for the transducer, as well as providing signal conditioning and a digital indicator facility. The unit has a very wide input voltage range which means that it is suitable for the entire range of RDP Electronics transducers, as well as most other manufacturers LVDT units.
Although the LVDT signal conditioning unit has a digital display, the E309 panel meter unit's electronics are analogue which means that the unit is simple to configure and has a very fast response. The E309 has, as standard, voltage and 4-20mA re-transmission as well as two limit trips with voltage free relays. The voltage and 4-20mA outputs are available in parallel but only one may be calibrated to an exact value as they have common controls.
The indicator/conditioner unit is supplied with a panel mounting kit. As an option RDP Electronics can supply the E309 transducer display unit in a portable bench instrument case with a carrying handle.
